Anna Karlen

As a trial lawyer at Preszler Injury Lawyers’ Toronto office, Anna Karlen represents clients navigating some of the most difficult personal injury cases, with a particular emphasis on sexual assault claims. Clients benefit from her rare perspective: after beginning her career in Vancouver in 2008, Anna spent more than 16 years as defence counsel for a major insurer. This experience now gives her an insider’s view of how complex injury files are assessed and litigated.

Anna has managed a broad range of catastrophic claims, including paralysis, complex psychiatric injuries, and traumatic brain injuries. She is confident leading a matter from early strategy through trial. She is licensed to practice law in both Ontario and British Columbia.

She is fluent in German and Swiss German and conversant in French. In her spare time, Anna enjoys hiking and cooking with her family.
