Christopher H. McDougall

Christopher H. McDougall draws on his experience inside the insurance industry to advocate for people who’ve been unfairly treated after an injury. Before joining Preszler Injury Lawyers, he worked as an insurance defence lawyer, representing a broad range of insurers in claims–most of them involving personal injuries. That role gave him first-hand insight into the strategies, tools, and tactics insurers often use to limit payouts.

Now at Preszler, Christopher is firmly on the other side of the table. His practice is focused on protecting injured individuals from insurer pushback, challenging denials, and working to secure the best possible recovery for his clients. He understands how stressful and uncertain life can feel after an accident, and he takes a practical, supportive approach–listening carefully, explaining options clearly, and aiming to give clients genuine peace of mind throughout the process.

Outside of his legal work, Christopher enjoys watching and playing hockey, mountain biking, running, and the occasional game of pool.
