Faraz Ravanbakhsh

Faraz Ravanbakhsh is a litigation lawyer at Preszler Injury Lawyers whose practice centres on institutional abuse claims and personal injury litigation. He is dedicated to helping individuals who have been harmed–whether within institutional settings or in the community–and approaches each file with care, persistence, and a strong sense of responsibility to the people he represents.

Faraz earned his law degree from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhouse University in 2018. He began his career at Canada’s largest law firm, where he summered and articled, gaining exposure to complex litigation and high-profile matters. That early experience confirmed his desire to stand with individual claimants rather than large institutional defendants, a decision that ultimately led him to Preszler.

In Ontario, Faraz has appeared at multiple levels of court, including contributing to a factum before the Supreme Court of Canada in the Law Society of Ontario’s constitutional case involving Trinity Western University. His advocacy is informed by both technical skill and a principled commitment to access to justice.

Faraz is also deeply engaged in reconciliation with Indigenous peoples and has spend over a decades serving at Potlatches throughout British Columbia, work that reflects his respect for Indigenous laws, cultures, and communities.
