Farzad Balandari

Farzad Balandari is a trial-minded associate at Preszler Injury Lawyers whose practice is rooted in advocacy for injured people and those facing powerful institutions. Called to practice in British Columbia, he has appeared before the BC Supreme Court in multiple successful trials as well as numerous chambers applications, earning a reputation for preparation, persistence, and calm, effective courtroom work.

Born in Iran and raised in British Columbia, Farzad completed a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of British Columbia, followed by his J.D. from the University of Victoria in 2020. During law school, he gained early exposure to regulatory and access-to-justice issues through a co-op placement with the Architectural Institute of B.C. In addition, through his work at The Law Centre, he represented clients in family, criminal, and administrative matters who could not otherwise afford a lawyer.

Farzard completed his articling with Preszler Injury Lawyers in Vancouver and remained with the firm as an associate. He is fluent in Farsi and values clear communication and cultural sensitivity in his relationships with clients.

Outside the office, Farzad enjoys soccer, running, and spending time with his nieces and nephew.
