Jocelyn Rose Brogan
Originally from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Jocelyn Rose Brogan has deep roots in Nova Scotia and a career shaped by both international study and complex litigation experience. After earning her Bachelor of Business Administration from Acadia University, she completed her law degree in Queensland, Australia, then returned to Canada, where she was called to the Ontario Bar in 2010 and the Nova Scotia bar in 2011.
Jocelyn Rose spent more than a decade in Toronto as an insurance defence lawyer, representing insurers in a wide range of negligence and occupiers’ liability matters. That work gave her an insider’s view of how insurance companies evaluate exposure and manage claims. At Preszler Injury Lawyers, she now uses that experience for the benefit of plaintiffs, carefully analyzing risk, testing defences, and working toward outcomes that properly reflect the impact of her clients’ injuries.
She is also an active legal writer, contributing commentary on personal injury and civil procedure topics to publications such as The Lawyer’s Daily and Mondaq. Away from work, Jocelyn Rose enjoys CrossFit and time with her partner and daughter.
