Ron Davidson
When injuries or abuse change the course of a life, clients turn to Ron Davidson for steady, practical advocacy. At Preszler Injury Lawyers since 2023, Ron focuses his personal injury practice on motor vehicle collisions, institutional abuse claims, slip and fall accidents, negligence claims involving waivers, and assault claims (including assault by police). He approaches each file with the view that every client is uniquely affected, and that the best result is the one that fully reflects their lived losses.
Ron’s perspective is shaped by his long courtroom career. After earning his law degree at Queen’s University in 1982, he served 27 years as a Crown prosecutor, trying serious offences, before spending over a decade as a civil litigator. For the last seven years, he has represented plaintiffs exclusively in personal injury cases, bringing the same focus and energy he once brought to prosecuting on behalf of victims.
Dedicated to the craft of advocacy, Ron recently presented at legal education programs on examining opposing witnesses and advocacy in remote hearings. He also represented Canada in hockey at the 1980 Olympics in Lake Placid. Outside the office, he enjoys time with his wife and four children and as an avid canoer, hiker, and skier.
