Russ Howe

Russ Howe is a veteran plaintiff lawyer whose career has been defined by standing up for injured people and survivors of abuse. At Preszler Injury Lawyers, he manages complex personal injury files from intake through resolution, with a particular focus on product liability, sexual assault, and disability claims. Clients and colleagues know him as a strategic, unwavering advocate who is committed to securing meaningful outcomes for those he represents.

Russ’s courtroom experience is extensive. He has conducted trials, appeals, and hearings at every level of court in Ontario, building a track record that has made him a trusted voice in the personal injury bar. Beyond his own practice, he has played a significant role in shaping the profession: Russ is a past president of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and has helped train many young lawyers to become more effective advocates for plaintiffs.

An active educator and commentator, Russ is frequently invited to speak across Canada and the United States on a range of legal topics. He has published widely within the legal community and in the public sphere, and is particularly proud of his contribution to Dr. Alison Bested’s medical text, Hope and Help for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia.

Outside his legal work, Russ enjoys tennis, curling, and soccer, and is involved in charitable initiatives both in Canada and abroad.
