Crystal joined Preszler Injury Lawyers in 2016 as a Licensed Paralegal. She graduated from the Paralegal Diploma program at Seneca College and is a graduate of the Licensed Nursing Assistant program in Vermont. It is this medical knowledge that has allowed her to successfully advocate for injured victims in their claims for accident benefits.
Crystal gained her knowledge of the accident benefits system through her work at rehabilitation clinics before becoming a licensee. She has experience in handling claims beginning with the 1996 Statutory Accidents Benefits Schedule (O. Reg. 403/96) and continuing under the current Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (O. Reg. 34/10).
Crystal also has extensive knowledge of the criteria for Catastrophic Impairment and has worked on numerous complex injury claims, securing the essential funding necessary for the recovery and rehabilitation of her clients. She uses a personal touch and often times, an out of the box approach to helping her clients navigate the intricacies of the accident benefits legislation and helping them at every step of their claim.
When she isn’t working for her clients, she enjoys spending time with her family, cheering on her son in minor hockey, golfing and is a volunteer baker for Icing Smiles Canada.
