Leslie was born in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory and was raised in a number of cities across Canada, spending most of her childhood in Truro, Nova Scotia. She attended Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Criminology and Psychology. Her love of travel led her to pursue her law degree (LL.B.) at The University of Birmingham in England.
She returned to Canada and completed her National Committee on Accreditation Exams through the Federation of Law Societies of Canada. After which she articled with Preszler Injury Lawyers in our Nova Scotia office and has since become an Associate at the firm after her call to the bar.
She has a unique set of client focused experiences acquired through her time at law school and Preszler Injury Lawyers, including pro bono work as a part of the University of Birmingham Criminal Appeals Assistance Unit alongside the Centre for Criminal Appeals in London, England.
She always wanted her law career to be focused on helping people and is happy to be able to do that with Preszler Injury Lawyers. Leslie knows that deciding to reach out to a Personal Injury lawyer may be intimidating, but strives to make her clients feel cared for, understood and confident that their case is in good hands.
Outside of the office Leslie enjoys hiking with her dog, yoga and snowboarding.
